Terms of use — Ramio

Version of 10 September 2026.

This is an English translation of the French terms; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

These terms govern the use of the Ramio mobile app and of quintaingames.com/ramio (together, “the service”). By creating an account, playing as a guest or using the service, you accept them.

1. Publisher

The service is published under the trade name Quintain Games (see the legal notice). Contact and single point of contact: contact@quintaingames.com.

2. The service

Ramio is a card game (rummy with board manipulation) playable solo against the computer, online against other players, as daily challenges and as free challenges. The service is provided as is, without any guarantee of continuous availability; it may change, be interrupted for maintenance, or have features modified or removed.

Ramio is entertainment: no money is staked, nothing is won in money, there is no paid gambling. Points, Elo, tokens and rewards have no monetary value.

3. Minimum age and minors

The service is open from 13 years old. Minors must have the permission of a person with parental authority; in France that permission is required below 15 for creating an account. A legal guardian may request the deletion of their child’s account at contact@quintaingames.com.

4. Account

You may play without an account (guest mode, progress kept on an anonymous technical account) or create a full account (e-mail and password, or Sign in with Google or Apple), which is required for social features.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what is done from your account. Your nickname must be available and comply with the rules of conduct below; the publisher may ask you to change it, or change it, if it is unlawful, misleading or offensive.

You may delete your account at any time in the app (“My profile” then “Delete my account”, see Account deletion). Deletion is immediate and final: progress, statistics, history, tokens and cosmetics acquired are lost, with no refund.

5. Rules of conduct

The following are prohibited, among others:

Reporting. A player can be reported from the app (nickname or inappropriate content) or by e-mail at contact@quintaingames.com. Every report is reviewed; the publisher may hide content, rename a nickname, remove a player from a game, suspend or delete an account, in proportion to the seriousness and repetition of the facts.

Appeal. The person affected by a measure is informed of the reason, where possible, and may contest it at contact@quintaingames.com; the publisher replies within a reasonable time. Judicial remedies remain available.

In-game chat messages are not stored; messages between friends are kept solely so the conversation remains readable (see the privacy policy).

6. Free of charge, advertising

The service is free. From public release onwards it may include advertising: optional videos (watched deliberately to get a hint, an unlock or a bonus) and, in some cases, ads between two games. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalised advertising is served only with your consent, collected in the app and changeable at any time.

7. In-app purchases

When the shop is open in the app, you may buy digital content: tokens, theme kits (themes, avatars, card backs) and the premium option.

Right of withdrawal. Digital content is supplied immediately after purchase. By confirming the purchase you expressly request that immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the content is delivered (article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code). The legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (articles L224-25-12 et seq.) still applies.

Consumer mediation. Before the shop opens, the publisher will join a consumer mediation scheme; its details will be published on this page. You will be able to refer a dispute to it free of charge after a written complaint has gone unresolved.

8. Intellectual property

The code, texts, images, sounds, artwork and the Ramio trademark (French INPI No. 5278240) belong to the publisher or its partners. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app for non-commercial purposes. Any reproduction, distribution, modification or exploitation beyond that use is prohibited.

The rules of manipulation rummy are in the public domain; the traditional game names mentioned are those of regional variants.

9. Content you post

You remain responsible for your nickname and your messages. You grant the publisher the right to display them to the players concerned and to store them strictly as needed to run the game and to moderate it.

10. Personal data

Data processing is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

11. Liability

The publisher uses reasonable means to keep the service working, but cannot guarantee the absence of interruption, bugs or data loss caused by a technical incident, nor the behaviour of other players. It is not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms removes the mandatory guarantees and liabilities owed to consumers.

12. Suspension, termination, end of service

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. The publisher may suspend or delete an account in the event of a serious or repeated breach of these terms, after informing the person concerned where possible. Should the service be permanently discontinued, players will be notified in the app within a reasonable time.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may change (new features, legal requirements). The version in force is published on this page, with its date. Substantial changes are announced in the app; continued use means acceptance.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory provisions of their country of habitual residence. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought by writing to contact@quintaingames.com before any legal action.
